TOP tributes to the likes of Queen, Oasis and Red Hot Chili Peppers will rock Southampton as Fake Festivals arrives in the city for the first time this weekend.

Flash, Oasish and Really Hot Chili Peppers not only sound like the real thing, but they also look like them, and deliver the most accurate stage show of the real band.

Oasish, one of the headlining tributes, tour extensively around the UK and Europe, and have been given the seal of approval by the real thing. They have also just been named the best Oasis tribute band in the National Tribute Awards, which were held earlier this year.

A giant marquee at Mayflower Park opens at12.30pm tomorrow with The Dead Freights getting the music under way at 1.15pm.

Mountain Feet, The Scheme, Sun Circus and Davey Jones' Locker all appear before the three main headliners get the evening crowd going.

Jez Lee, owner of Fake Festivals, said: “It’s a very proud thing to be able to say that the best tributes to Queen, Oasis and Red Hot Chili Peppers are found in the UK,

“I have seen many tribute bands across the globe perform, and none match up the ones I have found here in the UK. All the tribute bands we use are booked round the world to perform, illustrating their great demand, and they are also highly recommended and endorsed by the real thing, so we feel very lucky that they are able to add us to their gig dates.”
