REUNITED indie rockers Milburn are touring for the first time after more than six years away and the madness all starts in Portsmouth on Monday.

Famous for their two striking albums Well, Well Well and These are the Facts, the band made a huge contribution to the famous Sheffield sound during their original stint together and gathered a huge loyal following.

That devotion never dimmed in the years away and, incredibly, they played to more than 10,000 people across four sold out nights at Sheffield O2 Academy earlier this year after they reformed to celebrate the ten year anniversary of their debut compilation.

Now singer and bassist Louis Carnall, his brother and singer-guitarist Joe, lead guitarist Tom Rowley and drummer Joe Green are off on a new nationwide tour which begins at The Wedgewood Rooms, Southsea.

Dates in London and strongholds Manchester, Glasgow and Leeds have already sold out with fans excited to hear more of the band’s punchy ska-influenced riffs and lively melodies that are sure to get everybody bouncing.

And favourite songs like Cheshire Cat Smile, What You Could Have Won and Send in the Boys are bound to be joined in the set list by brand new double-A single Midnight Control and Forming of a Fate which is available for download from ITunes now.

Joe was last at the Albert Road venue playing as part of Reverend and the Makers in their outstanding show last autumn while Tom has been a touring member of Arctic Monkeys.
