SOUTHAMPTON’s E Minor Pop Academy will lend its many sweet voices to Wessex Heartbeat’s 25th Anniversary Variety Show.

The south’s longest running children’s pop choir, E Minor will join West End favourite Ruth Henshall and Jon Clegg from Britain’s Got Talent, plus classical singers The Five for the charity show at the Mayflower Theatre on Sunday April 30.

Wessex Heartbeat has raised £15.8 million for the cardiac unit at Southampton Hospital in the past 25 years, providing crucial improvements, cutting-edge equipment, clinical education and research.

Its 25th year anniversary Variety Show will raise funds for its work in supporting the Unit in 2017 and beyond.

E Minor is no stranger to helping Wessex Heartbeat - its singers performed in the charity’s High Five show in 2015.

Kara Craddock, owner of the Academy, said: “We are honoured to be invited back by Wessex Heartbeat and to perform alongside some truly outstanding acts.”

The Wessex Heartbeat Variety Show is sponsored by long-term Wessex Heartbeat supporter Carnival UK.
