HAMPSHIRE'S Chart topping twins Ward Thomas have spoken of their delight at being booked for this year's Isle of Wight Festival.

The modern country duo, made up of 23- year- old twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy Ward Thomas will be playing at the iconic festival over the weekend of June 9-11 which will culminate in a headline performance by Sir Rod Stewart on the Sunday.

Ward Thomas produce modern country music with a British twist and released their second album ‘Cartwheels’ which reached Number One in the Official UK Albums Chart, making them the first British country act to do so.

‘Boomerang’, the fourth single to be taken from their record breaking album ‘Cartwheels’ is also their 4th straight Radio 2 A-listed single.

The girls played a run of 16 completely sold out UK dates in October last year, and crowned off their live schedule with a spectacular sold out show at the Brooklyn Bowl in December for the Christmas Country 2 Country Social.
