A HAMPSHIRE teenager has stolen the hearts of music lovers nationwide after his appearance on a TV talent show.
Ryan Granger, 14, from Whiteley, may not have done enough to impress judges will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones from McFly on The Voice Kids, but he has since gathered quite a following from fans of the show.
The show’s website has been inundated with comments suggesting he should have made the final cut and a video of him performing on TV has also amassed more than 87,000 views on YouTube.
A pupil at Brookfield Community School in Sarisbury Green, Ryan performed Hey There Delilah by The Plain White Ts to a rapturous reception.
He is a previous winner of Southampton talent contest Millbrook’s Got Talen, scooping the top prize two y ears ago when he performed his musical hero Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud on his ukelele.
Ryan, a former student at Stagecoach Performing Arts School, has just released a Christmas song In Bethlehem arranged by another musical inspiration, his grandad Paddy Maxwell.
