METRONOMY, Lady Leshurr and Sundara Karma will play Blissfields 2017, which gets under way on Thursday July 6.

Influential international stars The Cinematic Orchestra and hip hop turntablist DJ Yoda are also on the bill.

The 5,000 capacity award-winning Hampshire festival, at Vicarage Farm in Woodmancott near Winchester. will enjoy a Bizarre themed outing before taking a break for a year.

Also confirmed for 2017 are garage legends DJ Luck & MC Neat, singer songwriter Tom Grennan and hotly-tipped five-piece Pumarosa.

Metronomy are the Saturday night headliner. Following the release of their second consecutive top-20 album, 2016’s hugely acclaimed Summer 08, Metronomy have well and truly cemented themselves as crossover electronic pop royalty, and one of the most exciting new wave groups of a generation.

Usually reserved for the likes of the Sydney Opera House and London’s Barbican, Roundhouse and Royal Albert Hall venues, The Cinematic Orchestra’s live sound has been described as ‘unyieldingly classy’.

DJ Yoda will be performing his Stranger Things Mixtape live with a multi screen audio-visual experience as the show’s Thursday night headline act on the newly expanded Larch Stage.

Organisers Mel and Paul Bliss will also be welcoming Queens Speech freestyler Lady Leshurr to the main stage, as well as BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Sian Anderson who will headline The Blisscotheque – a double decker Routemaster kitted out for the ride of your summer!

Sundara Karma whose debut album Youth Is Only Ever Fun in Retrospect was released earlier this year to critical acclaim. They make their second visit to Blissfields.

There’s also a welcome return this year for festival favourites and Blissfields family Beans On Toast and Dub Pistols. Once again Beans has been tasked with curating his own slice of the festival and will be hosting his own Presents series during the festival.

The Japanese House, S4U, and BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Sian Anderson are also on the bill for the independent festival, which has hosted scores of big-name bands over the years, including Bastille, Dizzee Rascal, London Grammar, Clean Bandit and Sam Smith.
