SOUTHAMPTON favourites The Sherlocks have released the title track from their forthcoming debut album as a single ahead of their next show here.
Brothers Kiaran and Brandon Crook and Josh and Andy Davidson, who play the The 1865 on September 21, revealed the news before Huw Stephens gave Live For The Moment its first spin on Radio One.
Long-time fans will know it’s not the first time the song has been a single. The South Yorkshire lads first released it in October 2014 a few months before their debut at The Joiners. Now the evocative tune has been remastered with producer Gavin Monaghan at Rockfield Studios.
In June The Sherlocks played to thousands at Isle of Wight Festival and earlier this year sold out consecutive nights in Southampton and Portsmouth in front of more than 700 fans. They play The 1865, Southampton, on Thursday September 21. Tickets £12. Album Live For The Moment is out 18 August. More at thesherlocksmusic.co.uk.
