CADEN’S Fight Presents a fantastic collection of great music and comedy acts from stage and screen in Breathe In…Stand Up at Hanger Farm in Totton on Sunday!

Breathe In…Stand Up! follows the success of the first Caden’s Fight event in 2015, Breathe In… Sing Out!.

It will be hosted by the charismatic Pat Sissons from BBC Radio Solent and Spire FM and features a brilliant blend of local talents for what promises to be a great evening, including performances by Southampton lad and The Voice star, Harry Fisher, BBC 3’s Joshua Robertson and highly acclaimed Ingrid Dahl to name just a few.

“I’m really looking forward to appearing at Breathe In...Stand Up!,” says Harry. “Cystic fibrosis is such a worthwhile cause and I hope we can help Caden's Fight to raise lots of money on the day, whilst entertaining people.”

Caden’s Fight founded in 2014, are a community fundraising group who came together to raise awareness and vital funds for the Children’s Cystic Fibrosis Unit at Southampton General Hospital and The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The brainchild of Matt Bond and Lucy Hayward-John, from Southampton, Caden’s Fight was set up after the realisation that the cystic fibrosis special care units in Southampton’s hospitals were not heavily financed by the NHS.

Matt comments: “My son was born with a condition called Meconium Ileus (a blocked bowel) and he was diagnosed with the genetic disease when he was just five days old.”

Being the most common genetic disease in the UK, one in four of us carry the faulty gene.

Matt continues: “I was surprised that not many people know anything about Cystic Fibrosis, which is why I am now passionate about raising awareness and money to help others with the disease. The lowered immunity means that even catching something like a common cold could result in a lengthy hospital stay for Cystic Fibrosis sufferers.”
