THE Point at Eastleigh has a busy Live Music Season this summer as it introduces The Garden Sessions and the Sounds of Summer.

As part of its Summer Social – six weeks of interactive activities, professional performance and outdoor events – The Point will host an array of live music evenings throughout June and July on its Garden Stage.

The Garden Sessions, presented in association with SoCo Music Project, will feature some of the region’s most exciting musicians, with Still Moving DJ’s, Bad Cat, Route 2 Roots and Alpha performing intimate acoustic sets as the sun goes down over The Point. Tickets are just £5, continuing the venue’s affordable music offer.

On July 13, ahead of the Eastleigh Mela on Sunday July 22, the festival hosts a special takeover session featuring a Brazilian Band & Bollywood Dancing – free to all who want to get involved.

The venue is also launching Sounds of Summer this season, inviting young professionals and friends to pull up a deck chair, enjoy music from different local DJ’s and check out the handmade Pop-up Bar in the cultural hub’s outdoor space. It’s free to attend and no booking is required.

The Point’s Live Music programme forms part of a busy season at the Eastleigh venue this summer. To book tickets, and find out more, visit www.thepointeastleigh.co.uk or call the Box Office on 023 8065 2333.
