UK SUBS

THE Godfathers of punk, U.K. Subs roll into The Cellar this Sunday, bringing with them their raw and undefined spirit of punk rock. Over the last five decades the band have been renowned for never compromising or watering down their style of music and in return have built a fiercely loyal fan base.

Last year saw the release of Work in progress, the ‘W’ in their quest to release all their albums in alphabetical order.

With a number of top 30 singles and top 10 albums under their studded belts, there’ll be plenty of hits to be played.

Supported by The Novatones, England Road and Chemical Threat, the band prove that like a mature wine they have just got better with age.

PETER COX

BEST known as one half of the blue-eyed soul duo Go West, lead singer Peter Cox will be playing his first solo show tonight at The Brook.

After the huge success of the band with hits such as We close our eyes and King of wishful thinking, Peter is currently pursuing a different creative outlet.

His latest album Riding the blinds will be pre-release sale at all his 2012 gigs ahead of the 2013 release date. Following his partaking in Reborn in the USA, a new fan base has given him a brand new lease of life and he continues to entertain audiences everywhere.

HAVE SOME MOORE

GARY Moore, the legendary blues singer and guitarist, has been immortalised with a tribute band.

Have Some Moore have worked tirelessly to create the ultimate mark of respect for the star and have achieved it with their established show.

Playing at The Brook tomorrow night, the local four piece are making their last show of 2012 extra special with some new material. With an abundance of musical experience behind them, they are looking forward to their return to home turf.
