THEIR debut shows were hailed by the Daily Star as “the best fun you can have with your clothes on”.

Now following that success, McBusted have announced a new arena tour for 2015 – including two local dates.

The supergroup play the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on Monday, April 13 and Wednesday, April 15.

The announcement comes almost exactly a year from the formation of McBusted from boybands McFly and Busted. Fans and critics agreed it was a smart move with The Independent calling it “undeniably huge, healing fun” and The Guardian saying: “Ludicrously enjoyable … Tonight’s trip back in time has conjured an unexpectedly bright future”.

McBusted announced their original 11-arena date tour of 2014 last November, with the initial dates selling out in an hour. Due to demand from fans, the tour eventually played to 350,000 people across 35 arenas, before culminating in a show-stopping headline performance at Hyde Park to 60,000 people.

Now the six-piece McBusted are armed with a superb debut album, and a new single Air Guitar.

Every single moment of McBusted’s launch and first year as a band was captured by the band’s long-time friend and film-maker David Spearing. The result is the behind-the-scenes film TourPlay, which last week received an exclusive limited release in Vue cinemas nationwide, and will be released on DVD on November 24.

McBusted’s single Air Guitar is released on November 23 with their debut album McBusted|following on December 1.
