AUGUSTINES, who stormed the festival circuit this summer, return to the south with a series of gigs and a new single release next week.
Their anthemic new single Cruel City is released on December 8 on Caroline International but prior to this they play Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms on December 3.
Powered by tribal rhythms, Cruel City is written by Billy McCarthy and produced by Peter Katis (The National, Frightened Rabbit, Interpol) and is the fourth single taken from their self-titled second album.
After an electric show at Latitude, and an explosive set at Reading/Leeds festival, Augustines are on an eight-date UK tour that finishes with their biggest show to date at The Roundhouse in London on December 8.
Now the band, famed for their dedication to stage craft, are offering fans the chance to get in on the touring experience.
ProjectHorn aims to find a super-talented trombone, trumpet or saxophone player to perform with them at their live shows across Europe.
Horn players from continental Europe, North America and Great Britain are eligible and the pick of the bunch will be flown out, all expenses paid, to join the band on the tour bus.
