A MASSED choir of more than 100 voices will bring a modern-day message of peace and goodwill to Romsey Abbey on Tuesday, December 16.

The concert will feature a performance of Stella Natalis by Karl Jenkins, the world’s most performed living composer, who celebrates his 70th birthday this year.

He is best known for The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace.

The 66-strong Barton Peveril Sixth Form College Choir will join forces with Wyvern Community Choir and Wyvern College Chamber Choir for the concert, which will also feature individual items by each ensemble.

The massed voices will come together for Stella Natalis during the second half of the evening before concluding with carols for all.

The concert begins at 7pm.
