THEY released one of last year’s most critically acclaimed albums – now The War on Drugs will bring epic Americana to Southampton.
Philadelphia’s finest, led by frontman Adam Granduciel, will appear at the O2 Guildhall Southampton on February 21.
Their third full length album, Lost in the Dream, was released last year and appeared at the top of many end-ofyear music critics lists across the world.
With comparisons to Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty, The War on Drugs effortlessly entwine heartfelt blues, shoegaze and cathartic indie rock that sets them apart from their contemporaries.
Tickets for their appearance in Southampton are selling fast.
They are priced at £22.55 and can be booked at seetickets.com or via the Guildhall box office on 023 8063 2601.
