HOT on the heels of a highly successful UK Christmas tour the celebrated male vocal ensemble Only Men Aloud have announced dates for their summer 2015 ‘On The Road’ tour.
Concerts are scheduled at The Anvil, Basingstoke, on May 23 and the Concorde Club, Eastleigh, on June 12.
Since winning the BBC’s Last Choir Standing in 2008 the Classical Brit award-winners have sold hundreds of thousands of albums, completed nine sell-out UK tours and sang at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
This summer the group will also release their fifth studio album.
For their 2015 tour the band will perform fan favorites given the unique Only Men Aloud twist such as Mr Blue Sky, Here Comes The Sun and Ticket To Ride as well as debuting new material with their trademark vocal harmonies.
Announcing the tour choir founder and music director Tim Rhys Evans said: “We’ve had a great UK tour in the run-up to Christmas and can now concentrate on getting the material together for our next album, songs which we are excited to show off to our great fans in the spring, along with some familiar favourites.”
Tickets are available through venue box offices.
