RISING indie stars The Sherlocks visit Southampton next month.

The Sheffield four-piece play at The Joiners in St Mary Street on March 7, which follows the release their new single Escapade on Monday.

Escapade carries on from their welcome tradition of terrifically bold and energetic guitar songs.

Previous singles Chasing Shadows and Live for the Moment have already been big hits on the iTunes alternative chart.

Band members, brothers Kiaran and Brandon Crook and Josh and Andy Davidson, are building up an impressive set list for their latest tour.

Reviews from other gigs so far indicate there is something to look forward to at The Joiners.

The Sherlocks, who also supported The Enemy last year, have chosen Southampton as their only southern venue outside of London in a major eighteen date tour. Shows in Manchester and Birmingham, as well their Sheffield heartland, have already sold out.

Meanwhile, Portsmouth’s The Arrivals and local favourites The Costellos have been confirmed as support acts to complete an impressive triple bill.
