DORSET’S “On The Bus” Festival has announced the first wave of acts for this year’s festival which takes place near Corfe Castle in August.

Welsh rappers Goldie Lookin Chain will headline the relatively intimate 400 capacity event, which is already in its fourth year.

Dorset’s finest (and self-proclaimed “Kings of Cow Punk”) Pronghorn will also be taking to the stage while the highly rated Ed Cox will be bringing his unique “Clowncore” style of music, where he fuses ska, jungle and breakcore.

Taking place from August 7 – 9, the strictly over-18s festival will host more than 80 hours of DJs curated by Bournemouth’s top club-nights and leading the way will be the hugely popular 90’s electronic duo Bentley Rhythm Ace.

Also confirmed to play the mid-summer bash are the hotly tipped trip-hop/soul act BOMBS and Bournemouth’s own folk/punkers The Jack Ratts. More announcements are planned for the coming weeks.

Early bird tickets have sold out but tickets priced at £55 are available by visiting afterdark.co.
