BRIT Award winner, Paloma Faith, makes an eagerly awaited appearance at the BIC on Sunday.

The star who beat off competition from FKA Twigs, Jessie Ware and Lily Allen to scoop the Best British Female Solo award will be performing tracks from her latest album A Perfect Contradiction, including her smash hit Only Love can Hurt Like This.

The album was one of the huge success stories of last year, going platinum. A newer edition of the album features five new tracks, including the single Ready For The Good Life, which Paloma co-wrote.

The other new tracks on the album are: Leave While I’m Not Looking and Best Bad habit – both written by Diane Warren, as well as Beauty Remains – co-written by Paloma, and Changing.

Success has been a long time coming to Paloma, 33, who said that winning the Brit award “means everything”, especially as she had lost out on so many times before.

In her emotional speech, she said: “Wow. I’m so moved. I’'s been a long time coming.

“It’s taken me 14 years to stand up here and accept this award and it means so much to me.”
