HE has risen through the ranks from pub circuits to chart stardom.
Now Winchester folk-rocker Frank Turner is set for a whistle-stop UK tour to promote his new book cataloguing his journey to stardom.
The Road Beneath My Feet, out on Thursday, follows Frank from 2005, when he played his last gig with hardcore band Million Dead at The Joiners in Southampton.
He returned to Winchester without a plan for the future.
Fast-forward to 2012 and over 1,000 shows later, he was headlining a sold-out gig at Wembley Arena with his band The Sleeping Souls.
Told through his tour reminiscences, the book details everything from drug-fuelled house parties, to fans roaring every word back at him.
To promote the book Frank will embark on a tour, including dates in London, Glasgow and Manchester.
