The Sherlocks return to Southampton after double Isle of Wight triumph...

South Yorkshire indie favourites The Sherlocks return to Southampton next week.

They play The Joiners, on St Mary Street, on Saturday, June 27.

It follows two storming gigs at the Isle of Wight festival on the brand new Jack Rocks stage last week.

The band of brothers was called upon to play a surprise second set after a fellow headliner pulled out due to illness.

Pictured in front of the festival main stage are guitarist Josh Davidson, lead singer Kiaran Crook, drummer Brandon Crook and bassist Andy Davidson.

The Sherlocks last played The Joiners in March, which was their first ever gig in the South.

This time they will be supported by Daisy Chains and Junction 13.

Before that they will play a huge 900 capacity home coming show at The Lead Mill in Sheffield.

The lads are also booked for Reading and Leeds and will support Brit-pop legends Cast on some dates in the North.

They will release a third single later in the summer.

The Sherlocks play The Joiners on Saturday June 27.
