STEREO Kicks - featuring Hampshire’s Tom Mann, have secured a top 40 hit with their debut single, ‘Love Me So’.

The eight-piece boyband, who starred on The X Factor last year, charted at Number 31 on its first week of release.

This was lower than the Number 10 position predicted in the mid-week chart Tom, 21, (pictured below) who lives at Chandlers Ford, told the Daily Echo last week the boys were facing an anxious wait to see how the single would fair.

Daily Echo:

He wrote the song himself when he was home last Christmas just before the band went on the X Factor Live tour and their own sellout tour.

They tweeted: “Thankyou so much! no one let us down... a top 40 single in its first week of release without a label or national radio. We love you”.

The band have every reason to celebrate as ‘Love Me So’ actually earned the top spot at Number 1 for having the biggest physical singles of the week, including CDs, vinyl and other physical formats.
