THE eldest son a legendary bluesman is coming to Winchester for a special gig.
Mud Morganfield will bring a night of blues to the Discovery Centre with songs from his award-winning album Son of the Seventh Son.
It includes Blues in My Shoes, and Mud composed most of the songs.
He will also perform You Can't Lose What You Ain't Never Had by his father Muddy Waters.
His 2014 album For Pops, which was recorded in tribute to his father with Thunderbirds frontman Kim Wilson, sees him make a personal statement about his roots.
Mud travels the globe with his music with appearances in the biggest festival venues, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and the Royal Albert Blues Fest.
He has also appeared on Later...with Jools Holland.
Now he can add the Winchester Discovery Centre to that list with his July 7 gig.
It starts at 8pm and tickets cost £15.
