THREE is the magic number this evening when a trio of Southampton's favourite bands play a big home coming gig in the city. Indie-rockers Bel Esprit, Fever and Howland make up an impressive triple bill at The Joiners in their first shows of the year. Fever were last at the St Mary Street venue in December supporting breakthrough band of last year Pretty Vicious and, like Bel Esprit, they are veterans of Southampton's inaugural Common People Festival. High-flying Howland, who supported Tynesiders Little Comets at The Joiners last summer, complete the terrific local line-up.
