HE is very hotly-tipped for success with BBC Radio 1 keenly playing his new single 'Sometimes'.

Now Oscar will play Southampton Engine Rooms tonight.

The 24-year-old is newly signed to Wichita Recordings (The Cribs, Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bright Eyes etc).

His new single and live favourite, “Sometimes” cracks and fizzes with livewire indie-pop energy and follows a string of energetic, critically acclaimed singles.

He has also announced the release of his debut album Cut and Paste, out on May 13.

Former art student, Oscar Scheller, who studied at London's acclaimed Central St Martin's, was immersed in music right from the start of his life. His parents fronted the pop band, The Regents and his father went on to produce early acid house records.
