IN February 2016, Status Quo announced that this year would see their last full-on electric shows.

The band will bring their The Last Night Of The Electrics tour to the BIC tonight.

After this tour the Telecasters shall finally be unplugged and amps turned off!

Francis Rossi, Andrew Bown, John ‘Rhino’ Edwards and Leon Cave are plugging in and bringing their thunderous electric live show back to the nation’s venues for the last time.

The concert will be packed with hits, both new and old, taken from that unbelievable back catalogue.

Status Quo will be joined by very special guests REO Speedwagon and The Lounge Kittens.

Status Quo have sold over 118 million records throughout their illustrious career and have achieved 43 hit albums in the British Albums Chart; more than any other band apart from The Rolling Stones. With iconic hits including Whatever You Want and Rockin’ All Over The World it is estimated that Status Quo have played over 6,000 live shows in their 49 year career to a total audience in excess of 25 million people.

Unfortunately guitarist Rick Parfitt has been ordered to rest for the remainder of the year at the very least following on from his heart attack and associated complications following a Quo show in Turkey on 14 June. He will be therefore be unable to take part in the ‘Last Night Of The Electrics’ tour.
