SHE grew up on the south coast and became a star of West End musicals and Carry On Films as well as topping the pop charts.

Now the multi-talented Anita Harris, who also appeared in The Time For Blackburn show when it was produced at the old Southern Television studios at Northam, is heading back to Hampshire.

Time For Blackburn was hosted by disc jockey Tony Blackburn when Anita was riding high in the sixties charts with Just Loving You and The Anniversary Waltz.

Anita will be using all her show stopping talents when she is the special guest with the Rat Pack at Eastleigh’s Concorde on January 20.

The star studded cast of the UK’s original and longest running Rat Pack show have scooped many accolades and awards after appearances worldwide including seasons in the West End.

Now Anita has joined a spectacular new production of the Rat Pack bringing her own salute to the iconic Judy Garland to the stage for the first time.

Garland was an original member of the Holmby Hills Rat Pack alongside Frank Sinatra and his pals and went on to perform with Ol Blue Eyes, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis many times both live in Las Vegas and on television in award winning specials.

Anita is perhaps best known for her numerous appearances in movies including the legendary Carry On series and the West End stage with her acclaimed performance as Grizabella in Cats.
