BESTIVAL will switch from the Isle of Wight to Dorset after it was confirmed a licence has been granted by councillors.
Organisers announced last year their desire to move the four-day event to the same site as Camp Bestival on the Lulworth Estate.
The annual festival is moving to Lulworth in Dorset where Camp Bestival is held Organiser Rob da Bank said the decision was down to the "boring economics of getting people on to the island".
He said: "The license has been granted for our new bestival adventure at the beautiful Lulworth Castle. Thanks to all who have supported us whilst we moved 'house'.
"See you here in September.''
Bestival had been held at Robin Hill Country Park, near Newport, annually since 2003.
