SOUTHAMPTON indie rockers The Costellos have released a new single and have promised news of new dates and festival appearances soon.
Lead singer-guitarist George Dummett, guitarist Declan Byrne, bassist Kieran Wilson and drummer Tomi Lewis, who opened the popular Jacks Rocks This Feeling stage at last year’s Isle of Wight Festival, have also released a new video for their song Keep on Lying.
“We’ve had the song for some time” frontman George told The Daily Echo. “We first performed it at Common People in 2015, received some amazing feedback and it’s since become a set list favourite. I guess it was only a matter of time before it became a single.
“We recorded it at Quay West Studios in Gosport with Ben Marks before getting it mastered at the world famous Parr Street Studios in Liverpool.
“For 2017 we’re going to be writing more and definitely raising the bar even higher when it comes to performing. We’ve had several headline shows outside of Southampton so we’re looking forward to coming back.”
Keep on Lying by The Costellos is on Sound Cloud and You Tube.
