THE Saw Doctors' lead singer Davy Carton has recovered well after throat surgery last November forced them to cancel 15 tour dates including Salisbury.
Now he is back "singing strong" at rehearsals for the rescheduled dates in April and June after rehabbing his voice for the past six weeks with his Galway voice coach Michel Durham.
"I'm looking forward to getting back on the road again with The Saw Doctors in April to play all the rescheduled concerts from last Winter" said Davy in a statement.
The Saw Doctors will play Salisbury City Hall on Tuesday April 18.
Leo Moran of The Saw Doctors said "We regret that we will not be able to play for all our loyal and faithful UK fans this winter. Davy needs some more time to recuperate and rehab his badly-damaged vocal cords.
"We are looking forward to getting back on the road to play all the rescheduled shows.’’
Tickets purchased for all the UK shows will be valid for the respective rescheduled gigs in April and in early June 2017. A full refund is available from the point of purchase if the 2017 rescheduled dates do not suit ticket holders.
