YORKSHIRE’S rising stars The Sherlocks will support rockers Kings of Leon in the north just 24 hours before heading to this year’s Isle of Wight Festival.

Frontman Kiaran Crook, his brother and drummer Brandon, lead guitarist Josh Davidson and his brother and bassist Andy will join the American legends at huge arena shows in Manchester and Sheffield on Friday and Saturday before racing down for their set at Isle of Wight on Sunday June 11.

It’s another giant leap forward for the hard working band of brothers who have a huge following in the south and last played Isle of Wight in 2015.

In February they headlined sold out shows at The Talking Heads and The Wedgewood Rooms as part of a massive 35 date tour.

Isle of Wight Festival, with headliners Rod Stewart, Arcade Fire, Run DMC and David Guetta takes place from June 8 to 11 at Seaclose Park. More at isleofwightfestival.com.
