POWERHOUSE performer Leo Sayer returns to Eastleigh’s Concorde Club next Friday ( May 19).

The 'You Make Me Feel Like Dancing' singer is promising a high energy concert of his much loved greatest hits.

With 16 hit albums and 26 hit singles to his name, Leo Sayer is one of the most successful acts the UK has produced and still has a huge global following.

Born on the South Coast, Leo began his music career co-writing songs with David Courtney, including Giving It All Away, which gave The Who’s Roger Daltrey his first solo hit in 1973.

It is now more than 40 years since Leo, who now lives in Australia, shot to fame with his own hit single The Show Must Go On and he never looked back.

In 1977 he hit the top of the US charts with the disco inspired Grammy award winning You Make Me Feel Like Dancing. Then came the romantic ballad When I Need You which soared to number one here and across the pond.

His other dance floor fillers have included One Man Band, Long Tall Glasses, Thunder In My Heart, How Much Love and I Can’t Stop Loving You.

The 70s music legend’s energy fuelled performances are still captivating audiences.
