SUNDARA Karma are to embark on their largest UK tour to date, stopping at Southampton’s 1865 in September.

The string of dates marks yet another career high point for the fast rising Reading four piece. Sundara Karma’s burgeoning live reputation is marking them out as ‘must-sees’ on this years festival circuit, as they prepare to play Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and our very own Blissfields. They have also recently concluded a nationwide tour supporting Two Door Cinema Club.

Led by the charismatic Oscar Pollock, they are armed with a fearsome arsenal of solid gold anthems that view classic noughties rock melodies through the modern indie prism of Arcade Fire and The Maccabees.

With the release of their acclaimed debut in January, Sundara Karma are already being hailed as the bright future of alt-rock, a reputation built on a clash of exotic and ordinary. Latest single Explore brings together the exotic and the mundane, the bravado and the alienation of teenage life.

The indie pop rockers. likened to Arcade Fire and U2, also include lead guitarist Ally Baty, bassist Dom Cordell and drummer Haydn Evans
