Sherlocks Debut in Top Ten
YORKSHIRE indie stars The Sherlocks say they’re buoyed up for their latest tour this month after their first album became the most successful debut by a British band for more than a year.
Kiaran and Brandon Crook and Josh and Andy Davidson, who play Southampton’s The 1865 on Thursday 21 September, learnt that Live For The Moment had entered the official chart at number six while playing to thousands at Reading & Leeds Festival.
Kiaran told The Echo “We’re stepping everything up for our biggest venue tour so far and with our album now released it means everyone can know all our songs, not just the singles. We can’t wait, it’s going to be huge.”
The Sherlocks play The 1865 on 21 September with support from Southampton’s Costellos and Southsea’s Eyes To The Skies. More at thesherlocksmusic.co.uk.
