SOUTHAMPTON's own singing sensation Craig David continues his four night city residency at Mayflower Theatre next week.

Fresh from a triumphant sold out first homecoming gig a week ago, the garage legend turned superstar DJ will perform from Monday to Wednesday night.

Fans will be treated to all the hits from the back catalogue, everything from What's Your Flava? to When the Bassline Drops, in the first act.

After the break, Craig will bring out this signature TS5 decks for the party that started in his bedroom on Southampton's Holyrood estate and was developed in his Miami penthouse. It has gone on to be performed to 100,000 at Glastonbury, wow the crowds at Common People and achieve a record-breaking ten week run in Ibiza this summer.

Craig, 36, told the Daily Echo: "I'm so excited for this run, it's going to be wild. But I'm also excited about being in Southampton. It will give me the opportunity to spend some time with friends and some real quality time with my parents.

"The place is full of good memories for me. This is where it all started and I've always very close to Southampton and the people of Southampton.

"I played my arena tour in Bournemouth and Brighton and everyone wanted me to come home, so here I am. Some of the stuff you'll hear I was playing at the Old Oriental, the Rhino and Burbanks back in the day!

"I've got so many friends and extended family coming along. It's going to be a big celebration and I'm going to enjoy every moment of it!"

Craig has spent the last few months working on new music and recently appeared on the Chase & Status track Reload. The dates, which replace a planned one night visit to the Ageas Bowl, follow a sold out arena tour and a host of festivals all over Europe.
