ORGANISERS of the New Forest Folk Festival have reason to celebrate for they have been nominated for three awards in the UK Festival Awards.

They are: Best Small Festival, Best Family Festival and The Grass Roots Festival Award.

Now they are urging festival- goers who enjoyed this year's event to go on line and vote for them.

They said: "We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s festival the best yet and for everyone who has been so kind and filled in our Survey, email, text and contact us through social media we read everything and are studying the results to make it a better festival for all. We have been swamped with so many lovely messages that it really does make it such a special little festival. We are privileged to have such great supporters."

Knowing they are taking on a huge amount of competition they added: "As we are so small we really need every vote we can possibly muster so if you can help with a vote and share our cause we would really appreciate it."
