THEY’RE considered ones to watch for music lovers.

Now Hertfordshire four piece The Hunna will play their biggest Southampton gig to date as they take over the city’s 02 Guildhall on Thursday.

The indie quartet, who have sold out many of the city’s smaller venues during previous visits, will bring their summery indie anthems to Southampton as a warm up to their UK and US tours this spring.

Ryan Potter (Vocals + Guitar), Dan Dorney (Guitar), Jack Metcalfe (Drums) and Cuynet Angin (Bass) will showcase tracks from their hotly-anticipated upcoming album Dare, which is due to be released in May 2018.

Only two years into existence, The Hunna have a loyal following of fans dubbed The H-Squad. They supported Coasts on their inaugural UK tour and will do the same when they take on America in March and April.

Their sound, thanks to producer Tim Larcombe, who has worked with singers Lana Del Rey and Halsey, is slick and polished, hinting at a maturity beyond their short time together.

Musically, they sound not unlike The Kooks on some tracks, particularly World Is Ours and We Could Be.

Their debut album 100 was very well received by critics and audiences alike.
