ACCLAIMED singer songwriter Jamie T makes his long-awaited appearance at Southampton Guildhall on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old from Wimbledon, nicknamed the one man Arctic Monkey, had to cancel his scheduled date last year after suffering from laryngitis.
Jamie T, real name Jamie Alexander Treays, first came to the fore when he supported the Ordinary Boys on their 2006 tour and went on to win the Best Solo Artist at the 2007 Shockwave NME Awards.
His debut album Panic Prevention was shortlisted for the coveted Mercury Prize in 2007.
The 2009 follow-up Kings and Queens reached number 2 in the UK Albums Charts and was proclaimed by Radio One’s Zane Lowe as the best album of the year.
