TOP names from the world of music will be descending on a Hampshire university to inspire stars of the future.
Bestival founder and Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank, Deacon Blue keyboardist Jim Prime and acclaimed music journalist Gary Mulholland will be dropping in to Southampton Solent University for its Solent Music Industries Live Event (SMILE).
Also featuring will be Glastonbury legend Rodney Branigan, famed for playing two guitars simultaneously, hip hop group Foreign Beggars and rising singing star Lauren Pritchard.
The annual event, launched last year, is aimed at inspiring students wanting to carve out a career in the music industry.
SMILE will run from 10am to 7pm today (March 5) at the Millais Theatre in East Park Terrace.
