THE legendary Paul Weller along with Merseyside’s finest The Coral, ultra-cool The Brand New Heavies, Irish songstress Imelda May, local heroes The Bees, indie rockers The Moons and critics’ favourite Twisted Wheel will be taking to the stage to celebrate the final throws of British summertime in style at Summer Madness on Sunday.
The 10,000-strong crowd at Carisbrooke Castle on the Isle of Wight are in for a real treat with some of the best live music around on the live stage, as well as the rare groove dance tent where you can throw some shapes.
The immortal Modfather first found fame with The Jam, then with the Style Council before enjoying phenomenal solo success, turning Paul Weller into an icon of British music.
His awesome back catalogue of hits, including the anthemic Town Called Malice, soulful classic You’re The Best Thing and the musical masterpiece You Do Something For Me provided a soundtrack that defined a generation and his latest album, Wake Up The Nation, has propelled him to even greater success.
