A VARIED classical programme will be performed by Southampton Youth Orchestra in their spring concert in aid of Leukaemia Busters.
Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor, Violin Concerto Op. 82 by Glazunov with soloist John Visanji and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.2 Little Russian are on the bill at Thornden Hall, Chandler’s Ford tomorrow night.
Southampton Youth Orchestra are conducted by Jane Higgins with leader Ning Ning Li.
Tickets, priced £10 for adults, £7 for concessions and £2 for children are available on the door for the event, which starts at 7.30pm.
n AS part of the University of Southampton's Jubilee celebrations members of the London Mozart Players are joined by eminent pianist Howard Shelley for a programme of chamber music which includes Schubert's much loved Trout Quintet.
The teatime special takes place at 3pm on Sunday.
