BLISSFIELDS Festival, Hampshire’s award-winning and longest running boutique festival, has announced its 2012 theme as well as a host of top quality names to add to its 2012 bill.
Having already confirmed The Noisettes, Patrick Wolf (playing a very special grand piano acoustic performance), Guillemots, Toddla T, and a wealth of acclaimed emerging talent, including Spector, Clock Opera and Theme Park, organisers nod their school cap to the world of sport offering a dandy revival of the Great British summertime and a golden age of playground camaraderie and frivolity with a Game For It theme.
Among the new additions to the line-up are beautiful songsmiths Bastille, the dandy king of psych-pop King Charles, Australia’s Me and the haunting Emily And The Woods.
The UK’s Best Small Festival takes place near Winchester from June 29 to July 1.
