Get Ready to Rock
THE countdown has begun.
There’s just a month to go until the 2012 festival season gets under way in superb style, right here on the south coast – and we have Isle of Wight Festival news, interviews, fashion and giveaways to get you in the mood.
Dubbed the American trilogy, the three headliners this summer are Bruce Springsteen (pictured left) & The E Street Band, Pearl Jam and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Southampton’s own Band of Skulls also feature on an eclectic line up.
Away from the music, Life’s a Beach is returning for the second year, a real beach and perfect for those who like to be beside the seaside, featuring live music, DJs and Zumba. When the sun goes down the beach turns into the biggest beach party going where festivalgoers can dance the night away.
Dust off your summer dance moves at Disco 2000 and show your support in the Field of Dreams. You won’t miss a kick, as all the Euro 2012 quarter-final matches will be shown, plus a number of top-notch films.
The Isle of Wight Festival will be broadcast on Sky Arts 1 HD throughout June 22 to 24. See sky.com/arts
