THE King of Pop may be dead but he was definitely not forgotten as Britain’s Got Talent stormed the stage in Bournemouth.
In a special show dedicated to Michael Jackson the finalists from the 2009 hit television show proved they had oodles of talent.
From action-packed dance routines, to sensational singers, with some little surprises added along the way, the BGT Tour was non-stop variety at its very best.
The night kicked off in chavtastic style with none other than the gold encrusted DJ Talent and his annoying yet catchy rap.
Despite doubts over her health, the most Googled person in the world, Susan Boyle, took centre stage with complete confidence, singing Memories and I Dreamed A Dream.
Shaheen and Shaun Smith proved they have what it takes to hit the charts, while youngsters Aidan Davis and last year’s winner George Sampson threw some serious shapes on the dance floor.
My favourites had to be Stavros Flatley though, who got the first standing ovation of the evening with their hilarious routine, including their now famous comic moves. Not ones to disappoint, the audience got the chance to see them in action again in the second half as two slightly chubbier Stormtroopers, supporting the not so talented but highly entertaining Darth Jackson.
But the night definitely belonged to the dance troupes, winners Diversity, left, and Flawless, who pulled out all the stops to get the audience at the BIC on their feet.
No one was left disappointed, as both groups never missed a beat with their mind-blowing performances that saw them pay their own tributes to Jackson.
Top all this with a bit of the magic of Stephen Mulhern, who compered between each act, and the show was a must for any BGT fan.
