BRINGING an eclectic mix of tunes and vibrating the room with their addictive beats, drum n bass act Chase and Status definitely pleased the crowd at the Guildhall.
Resembling early Prodigy, the act took to the stage and displayed an impressive mix of up tempo beats and dance anthems.
Undoubtedly one of the most entertaining live acts around, Chase and Status had everyone head banging along to their greatest hits.
The electronic production duo, Saul ‘Chase’ Milton and Will ‘Status’ Kennard, wowed their fans with a variety of dance beats. Their original album, released in 2008, featured heavily on the night.
The pair began the event with popular anthem Pieces, featuring vocals from well known rapper Plan B.
Although Plan B was absent on the night, electricity and passion for the track was evident. The entire crowd were moshing along to the music and dancing in unison at the infectious rhythm.
Other well-known songs performed throughout the event included Let You Go, Hypest Hype and End Credits.
With a truly commercial twist and listenable vibe, Chase and Status had the crowd in Southampton mesmerised.
Although originating from the underground scene, the pair have well and truly cemented their name on the commercial circuit.
Fusing together a mixture of lesser-known slower tracks with successfully fast paced songs, the pair have secured a faithful fan following.
Everyone in the crowd was jumping along to the familiar tunes, which no doubt symbolises that the duo are here to stay.
