ON Monday night the O2 Academy in Bournemouth played host to dance music’s hottest property – Chase & Status.
Having sold out their run of dates in March, they returned to the stage with their new tour, No More Idols.
Over the last five years the London duo - Saul ‘Chase’ Milton and Will ‘Status’ Kennard - have teamed up with a spectrum of artists, producing a pix ‘n’ mix of hip-hop, bass, dance, and indie rock tunes.
Their debut LP More Than Alot boosted them into the limelight – categorising them as a unique urban phenomenon and tonight the dance floor was swimming with enthusiastic revellers, proving that their smash of genres is certainly a hit.
Their set-list included collaborations from their album including No Problem, Let You Go (feat. Mali), Hypest Hype (feat. Tempa Tinie), Embrace (feat. White Lies), Midnight Caller (feat. Clare Maguire) and End Credits (feat. Plan B).
With fantastic stage graphics and a hypnotic bass the O2 came alive, proving that Chase & Status can make musical magic.
