THE timeless children’s story Wind in the Willows, pictured above, will be brought to life at a Hampshire theatre.

Performing arts group Oddsocks will return to the Lights in Andover on Friday, January 9, for a produc-tion of the Kenneth Grahame classic.

The show is packed with live music and comedy as the audience follows the lovable Mole, Ratty and Badger and the boisterous and bumptious Toad in their idyllic riverbank community.

But they face perils from the dangerous weasels, stoats and ferrets from the Wild Wood.

It has been billed as “irreverent but respectable to the text” with slapstick and skilful comedy and entertainment throughout.

The evening show is sold out but tickets are available for the matinee at 1.30pm.
