HE'S the Hampshire rapper taking the music scene by storm.

Rising star Lucan Mills, who hails from Winchester, has had a crazy year. From rapping with Ed Sheeran to supporting huge names in the genre such as Tinie Tempah, G-Unit, Skepta and JME, he's also shared Ibiza stages with Chipmunk and N Dubz.

This weekend, he'll take his show onto a sporting stage. Lucan will perform to an expected audience of more than 6,000 ahead of MK Dons Championship clash with Hull City at Stadium MK on Saturday.

The date comes as he releases his new EP Level 1, including the lead track It's Just Rap.

Now living in London, Lucan is a fresh, young talent delivering real lyrics and well-constructed verses drawing inspiration from real life experiences.

This hip hop maestro won the prestigious UK Channel U competition, defeating a bunch of talented acts in the process.

Lucan has since performed with various artists such as Ironik and Kano, as well as the Ibiza shows and freestyling on-stage with Ed Sheeran.

After reaching the final of Open Mic UK and mastering his live performance, Lucan has worked relentlessly to reach bigger audiences and build his fan base.

Lucan and his unique live band have been in the studio working on brand new material and performing live showcases at some fantastic venues around the country.

The artist is already making waves in the capital’s independent scene and his EP, with its well-produced, accessible brand of urban song writing, is hotly anticipated.
