WINCHESTER Cathedral’s spectacular rafters will ring to the sounds of spine-tingling music this weekend as Southampton Choral Society present Edward Elgar’s magnificent work Dream of Gerontius.
The society will be joined by The Renaissance Choir to make 160 voices, accompanied by Southern Pro Musica.
Elgar’s masterpiece will be led by acclaimed guest conductor Brian Kay with professional soloists.
It will be performed on Saturday night from 7.30pm.
