THE Bournemouth Bay Art Group (BBAG) are making their second visit to the Regent in Christchurch with an exhibition of their work until Friday 17 June.
The Group was formed in 2003 by a group of artists who were students of Frances Shearing, a talented local artist and teacher, who is herself a member. The medium in which the group initially worked was watercolour but BBAG now includes members who paint in acrylic, oils and also textile painting.
The club which has a membership of 26 artists, meets each week and promotes a programme of activities such as working sessions, talks, discussions, demonstrations, critiques, visits, painting holidays, exhibitions and sales of paintings.
