DUDSBURY Country Club at West Parley continues to pride itself on being more than a restaurant or bar by offering an experience closer to a festival with major music acts and DJ’s regularly appearing.

Now within the five acres of gardens, woods and outdoor play area, to coincide with the school holidays, weekly kids parties are being held each Friday and an assortment of interesting events throughout the week.

Next month, there is a three-day family festival, The Party in the Garden of Love (August 27-29).

Each day will offer a headline turn from some of the most influential singers from the house music scene.

These include British club singer Alison Limerick who shot to fame with her massive worldwide hit,Where Love Lives. Also, American singer Byron Stingily best known for his falsetto voice and huge US number one Get Up (Everybody).

Completing the line-up is a roster of top flight DJs. The event is being held in conjunction with children’s charity, Variety who work for sick, disabled or underprivileged children.

Special festival top hats will on sale during the three day event and a ticket promotion on children’s tickets to help raise money for the children's charity.

Frances Cornelius of Variety says: 'Variety the children's charity, Wessex Region' is absolutely delighted to be working alongside The Dudsbury Country Club and we cannot thank them for all the support that we have received to date. I am sure that all the events that they are holding during the summer months will be marvellous for families with children.”
